The “1970’s” is in reference to the start of shadowcasting being spontaneous engagement rather than casted lineups, not referring to cultural trends of the time. This will apply to all films shown except Rocky Horror Saved My life, and Rock Horror which will have an all-star shadowcast. It's meant to be chaos, anyone can jump on stage during any of the other films and do a scene/character. Hopefully there will be some instances of multiple people doing the same thing at the same time. Please ask for permission before making physical contact with other people while engaging.
Only the after parties are intended to be “ragers” ; the general vibe for most of the con should be chill hangout. Alcohol will be served from 3pm-3am so it will be around but definitely not required in any way to enjoy the activities. Smoking/vaping will be limited to the outdoor courtyard. We do not endorse drug use, however there is always a small inescapable element of it at all Rocky conventions. There will not be a specified “sober space”
Yes, there will be a “cool down room”(curtained off sitting area), an outdoor fenced “courtyard”, a “gaming room” and a “green room” in addition to the main space.
YES! There are a few rough patches in the parking lot, but the entire venue is one level except for the stage which does have a ramp. There are also ADA compliant bathrooms.
The venue will be open 72 hours straight. There will be hangout areas and events at all times, the only thing you need a hotel for is sleeping and showering(please). In recent years, hotel partnerships have been costing tens of thousands of dollars, allowing hotels to profit off the community while doing little to accept or accommodate it. Rooms not grouped together and room parties being shut down in minutes. The Venue is the party at this CON.
As the Con is not hotel-based, you can book wherever you want! You'll only need a hotel for sleep and showering, so you can go fancy if you like, or go cheap and even share a room with friends and sleep in shifts. There are three hotels located less than a mile away from the venue at I-80/94 that are under $100 a night, there are more than 20 hotels within 20 minutes of the venue, it's all up to you!
Largely a personal choice, but if geographics and price are your focus, there are three hotels under a mile away right off I-80/94 and Cline Ave for under $100 a night. Best Western, Quality Inn, and Motel 6. but there are tons of options, just search hotels on google maps near the venue.

Thankfully due to the nearby casino, there are plenty of ubers/lyfts available in the area. Please do not drink and drive.
YES! This show is almost entirely made up of attendees with a few surprise professionals. After purchasing your ticket, you'll be invited to the Con attendee discord and can post your submission to be included.

YES! There will be four two-person security teams working in shifts to provide constant security throughout the con, some members are the heads of security for other casts, additionally TR(who worked as a security guard for 10 years) will also be overseeing security while running logistics and will be onsite 17 hours a day. This may seem like over-kill especially being this event is not open to the public, but we do take security seriously. Any physical violence will result in removal from the event. Interpersonal issues will be dealt with on a case by case basis, while that may seem vague, the nature of such things makes explicit listing unfeasible. In the words of Bill and Ted, “Be excellent to each other”.
We do have some staff positions open, Staff are expected to work a 6-hour shift each day of the Con and will receive free admission to the Con while not staffing. Staff positions include: Registration table, bag check room, and security. Please reach out directly to lowdowncheaplittlecon@gmail.com

YES! There is a dedicated gaming room open all 72 hours of the Con.

YES! We will have a free bag check room open and staffed 72 hours straight, you can bring whatever you need for the day, check the bag and access it as you need to throughout the day. Changing can be done in one of the bathrooms and there is a makeup counter in the green room. Green room not available to anyone except casted performers during the drag/talen/burlesque and Rocky Horror Shows, but open to everyone all other times.

Any cast in attendance can put forth one "Champion" to compete in the tournament. There will be 3-4 competitions of ridiculous tasks the winner of which will be awarded the Champions Cup and bragging rights for their cast. Submissions will be taken on the Con Discord server.
No, temporary fencing will have green privacy fabric enclosing a 70' x 12' outdoor area with high-boy tables and stools making a nice private smoking/hangout area.
Yes, the venue has a giant parking lot and it is absolutely free!
YES! You can bring food right into the venue from grubhub, or walk to any of the over 15 food options in 2-block walking distance and bring it back.
We have secured ReMix Catering to bring their food truck through late-night to provide amazing chef-prepared comfort food at affordable prices. Suggestions for menu options can be made in the Discord server closer to the event to ensure there are options everyone can enjoy. Prices will be posted once menu options are set.
This Con is only open to current and former shadow cast members. Other than the Bartenders and a few hired talents, everyone there will be rocky people.

NO! We have a "Nothing less than Burlesque" policy. Genitals and buttholes must be covered at all times while in the venue. If leaving the venue, please dress appropriately to avoid unwanted attention to the event.
