CAST RULES | NWI's Rocky Horror Picture Show

CAST RULES

Cast Rules

  1. The show must go on! Each cast member must work to the best of their ability to make sure that under any circumstances including personal feelings, medical health problems, buy cialis psychological issues, buy cialis creative differences, etc. that the show is in no way undermined by this or their behavior.
  2. Don’t leave me hangin’. It is your responsibility to notify a cast officer in the case of an absence or inability to perform delegated duties. If you are unable to perform, it is your responsibility to find a replacement if it is less than 24 hours before a show.
  3. Safety to humans! Do not do anything that would cause injury to any cast, audience or theater personnel.
  4. Safety to property! Do not steal, damage or misplace the property of Help Me Mommy, the theater, the individual cast members or the audience.
  5. Business in the front, party in the back. Only cast and crew members performing should be backstage. Audience members should not be backstage or in the basement. The theatre will also be cleared of any unauthorized personnel before letting in for the show.
  6. Cast members who are smoking must remain in the “Cancer Corral” during the performance. Security has the right to send cast members back inside if they feel as though you are bringing any unwanted attention to yourself. Don’t accost people who are unassociated with the show.
  7. Do not lie on the couches, jump on the couches or stand on the couches. Treat the couches as though they belong to your Grandmother, and you’re not a shithead.
  8. Drugs are bad, mmmkay! The Art Theater is a drug and alcohol free environment. Do not bring drugs or alcohol into the theater.
  9. Children are our future. No cast member may engage in illegal behavior with any cast, audience or theater personnel who are minors.
  10. Do not bite the hand that feeds you. Any theatre related business, complaints or ideas are to be directed to John (or another cast leader in John’s absence) and no other theater personnel. Never talk to the theatre owners! In addition, theatre personnel should be shown the utmost respect…even if they’re on some bullshit.
  11. Can’t we all just get along? Your fellow cast members are to be treated in a civil and respectful manner regardless of your personal feelings on and off the stage.
  12. If you don’t look good, we don’t look good. Each individual cast member represents the cast as a whole whether you like it or not. Poor individual behavior reflects poorly among the entire cast. Conduct yourself in a professional manner when dealing with the real world, as well as the Rocky world. This includes the internet. We have plenty of dirty laundry to share with each other but not with the entire world.
  13. The squeaky wheel gets the grease. We cannot work to resolve your issues if you keep them all to yourself and your friends. Please direct any complaints or grievances to a cast officer. Also, cast meetings are conducted in an open forum. Never be afraid to contribute ideas or voice your opinion. There are no stupid ideas.
  14.  Don’t use the back door (without cast leader/theatre manager permission). Don’t go behind the front counter (without theatre manager permission). Don’t go in the stairwell/projection booth (without cast leader/theatre manager permission). Don’t attack vehicles…or anything else.
  15. Absolutely no drinks backstage, even if it is in a sealed container, except for in the basement. If you see a drink backstage, throw it away. Also, do not stack or hang anything on the furnace because it will catch on fire, and fire is bad.
  16. Cleanup is mandatory, even if you have to work at 5am, your significant other is a bitch, you’re really sick, you’ve been drinking all night, or if your chariot is going to turn into a fucking pumpkin. If you cannot clean the theatre, you must make alternate arrangements or pay to get in. Cast leaders reserve the right to whether or not you opt out of cleanup.

These rules are subject to change at any time.
